All the events are open to all home-educating families, parents, children and young people who are in agreement with Educationista’s constitution and policies. Membership is not required.
Regular or ongoing participation in individual events, activities, trips and groups is not obligatory. Families are invited to choose the events that are best for them.
Where possible, carer spaces will be made available – documentary evidence of carer status may be required. Often these are free-of-charge.
Some events may not be suitable for all age-ranges. Therefore, these events might have age-restrictions or age-guidelines.
If spaces are limited for any given event, then they will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. If an event is over-subscribed, a waiting list will be in operation.
We are insured for a small proportion of unaccompanied children. However, we cannot take babies-preschoolers without their parents.
Any financial contribution to the event will be payable at the time of booking onto the event. A space is only confirmed when payment has been received. Payment is non-refundable, in principle. However, if your spaces are refilled before the event takes place, a refund (either in part or in full, as appropriate) may be made.
Any discounts, free places, funding and support will be pro-rated and will normally be refunded after the event.
